Maa Maha Gauri is the 8th form of Maa Durga, it is believed that up to the age of 16 the Maa Parvati was having extremely fair complexion, due to this reason she gets name Maha Gauri means “Ultimate fair”. On this day, we worship small girls.

Mantra: पूर्णन्दु निभां गौरी सोमचक्रस्थितां अष्टमं महागौरी त्रिनेत्राम्।
